Planning

The Center for Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine® consultant will work with your organization to gather the information necessary to complete the project plan.

Development

The Center for Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine® consultant will oversee construction and source all necessary medical equipment.

Staffing

A Center for Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine® consultant will oversee staffing recruitment, credentialing and training for all clinic staff.

Core Clinic Staff

The Center for Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine® provides:

  • Center Director – oversees administrative operations
  • Clinic staff – wound care nurses and hyperbaric technicians

Your hospital must designate in-house personnel to serve as:

  • Program Liaison – responsible for organizational oversight

Referring Physicians

The clinic’s Medical Director will educate all the physicians in the affiliated hospital about treatment indications and referral protocols.

Multidisciplinary Approach

Treating patients with chronic wounds requires a comprehensive approach. Our wound care clinical team welcomes collaboration with medical professionals from a wide range of disciplines.

If desired, your facility can negotiate wound care clinic treatment collaboration agreements with in-house medical staff, including:

  • Patient educators
  • Registered Dietitians
  • Certified Diabetes Educators
  • Physical Therapists and rehabilitation specialists
  • Mental health professionals

Staff Training

The Center for Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine® provides training for all center physicians and staff, including:

  • Hyperbaric medicine introductory course
  • Wound care training course
  • Ongoing hyperbaric medicine CME/CEU credits

In-service training provided by either a Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT) or Certified Hyperbaric Registered Nurse (CHRN) includes:

  • Hyperbaric chamber operations training
  • Transcutaneous oximetry

The clinic’s designated hyperbaric safety director also receives a hyperbaric safety director training course.

Operations

The Center for Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine® management team oversees and administers every aspect of clinic operations.
