Billing

The Center for Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine® does not perform billing for the hospital. However, we do employ a revenue cycle team that follows up to ensure patient responsibilities are covered. This provides higher than average collection rates on billed services.

Optional additional billing services may be negotiated during the clinic planning phase.

Medical Records

The Center for Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine® clinics are equipped with state of the art wound care and hyperbaric EMR systems. Clinical treatment records are seamlessly integrated with the hospital’s EHR infrastructure.

Documentation

The Center for Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine® provides all policies, procedures, forms and templates critical to clinic operation and administration of wound care and hyperbaric services.

A library of wound care and hyperbaric medicine reference books is also provided.

Oversight

The Center for Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine® management team performs real-time documentation audits to ensure accuracy for billing and medical records. They also monitor safety, regulatory compliance, and provide ongoing clinical and technical support.

Policies and procedures for implementing performance improvement initiatives are provided, and employed as opportunities for corrective and preventive action are identified.

Accreditations and Compliance

The Center for Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine® manages and executes everything necessary to obtain and maintain compliance and accreditation with regulatory and industry organizations, including:
